I tried the format that Eric posted (E-Brake wire grounding point was the steel structure around the steering column area) and it indeed worked but as a one shot deal and wouldn't work after the unit was shut down and retried again, had to do the procedure all over again. Then I searched around and came up with this post and decided to try Eric's Idea. The only way we could get the blue screen to go away was to tie the e-brake and the reverse light wires together but it was a one shot deal and had to be redone with every use and was iffy (player was stubborn to loose the blue screen) at best. Any meaning tap the brightness or contrast up or down one notch to get the picture to come up bright again. The settings stay the same (5 in my case for brightness and contrast), but it's obvious that the picture setting has changed and it requires me to go into the picture setting every time and make any change for the screen to go back to it's previous setting.
